Situado a pie de pistas de la estación de Grand Valira, en El Tarter, el hotel Llop Gris le da la bienvenida en un entorno privilegiado para la práctica de deportes al aire libre, tanto en verano como en invierno. Las habitaciones, bien equipadas, ofrecen hermosas vistas de la montaña, el río o los tejados. También hay una hermosa piscina cubierta climatizada, una sauna, una bañera de hidromasaje, amplias salas de lectura, así como un bar y un restaurante muy bueno. En invierno, el hotel alquila equipos de esquí y snowboard. Las mascotas también son bienvenidas

Our room was the garden room which is very sizeable and comfortable with a king bed, a bunk bed and another single bed.
There is an underground garage but I had some problems with my car (a Mercedes Vito bus), the first time I went in I scratched it against the wall as it's a quite narrow turn. When I came out I managed to do it, so it is possible but it is hard.
Other parking options are six spaces belonging to the hotel (often full) and yellow boxes near the hotel (including the actual ski lift car park belinging to the Grandvalira lift operator. Apparently these are ok but there are no clear signings either way.
Another option is parking in the village across the roundabout which is free at night (and then potentially move it during the day to the Grandvalira car park or elsewhere).
I stupidly parked my car in a no parking zone and got clamped, only to be released later. All not the hotel's fault but I am putting this out as information for guests who may not want to use the underground car park.
So overall a very nice stay and fully recommended. Great value for money. Only reason for four instead of five stars is that the hotel itself is a little dated but this does not detract from the overall enjoyable stay.
