- Dommage que la carte du soir de l'Edge water nous plaisais moins que celle du midi
- Le personnel est topissime (bonus +++ pour Ashley qui a réussi à nous avoir un burger au poulet le soir)
- Les cocktails du bar sont excellents
- Dommage que notre chambre donnait sur le jardin au niveau du bar car le soir la musique est trop forte, et la veille du départ c'était compliqué
Nous avons été accueillies de façon exceptionnelle et aidées pour rebondir après ce déboire
Le personnel est fantastique et très réactif
L’hôtel est évidemment très luxueux avec une immense et magnifique piscine et un accès à une plage superbe

Nice experience
It was clean, comfortable, the housekeeping crew was very friendly and careful.
I also found the food great, I am not a big eater but because of the multiple buffet nights, were there was so much delicious food I ate much more than normal.
The people that work in this resort are absolutely amazing. They are always ready to help and very friendly. Unfortunately I do not remember all the names of all the people that impressed me but I remember the names of Diksha, Dinson, Jarvin, Arvesh and ... . They helped me with suggestions and were always nice and friendly to chat with. I recommend going to them if you have any hotel related questions and also for any activities advice, because they have the best suggestions as locals. As I said, I don't remember all the names, but everyone in this resort is friendly, helpful and respectful to say at least.
The hotel also offers activities and they arrange everything for you, you just need to show up.
I highly recommend Reena for massage or any spa treatments, she is the best! I never felt anything like that in Europe, the methods are different and her skills are amazing. I also tried the chakra healing and I recommend it if you are curious to learn more about the spiritual side.
Overall it was a great experience and I honestly say I will definitely go to the same place the next time I visit Mauritius.
Po příjezdu na Outrigger nás čekal pobyt v místě nazvaném AMETYST. Velmi škaredé a nebezpečné místo. První dojem dělá hodně a toto byl děs.
Hotelové pokoje jsou sice velké, prostorné, ale nejlepší časy už mají za sebou, tak trochu RETRO, rez, rozklížené skříňky, až nebezpečné zásuvky a el. ovladače. Velká vana byla velké +
Obsluhu bych čekala lepší na 5* hotel. V restauraci to vypadalo jako výukové pracoviště učňů, nikdo neví, co má dělat. Skleničky, hrnečky i po umytí zbytky rtěnky. Na "čistých" talířích a příborech zbytky jídla. Prostě eklhaft. Ani 3* hotel by si toto neměl dovolit.
Výjimka potvrzující pravidlo je restaurace Plantation Club, ten je prvotřídní, jediný splnil naše očekávání. A obsluha v tomto Clubu byla perfektní.
Poloha byla také velkým zklamáním, příkrý sestup od pokoje k pláži, hodně kamenů. Manžel se hned v prvních dnech zranil. Ošetření nedostatečné (z pohledu zdravotníka).
Pokud si chcete užít zaslouženou dovolenou, tak tento hotel NEDOPORUČUJI.

Very bad services, also very bad behaviour towards guests. My airpods were stolen and mightnight the fire alarm got switched onn also there wasn’t any response from the reception during night. I mean what a shame , stealing and stuff! I mean there are always better hotels like jw four seasons suggest you stay there. Had to manage here because it was my first stay . I wish this hotel was in our country, would’ve shown the hotel employees how things are exactly done . Why do you even show your horrible hotel as a 5star it doesnt even deserve a 3 star dude! Bloody theives
The location was wonderful - sure, it's quite windy but that meant that it was bearable outside.
Food was brilliant, though if I were being picky I'd say it did seem a bit dumbed down for tourist tastes, but that's OK. It was still tasty, there was plenty of it and we didn't get sick at all during our 2 week stay.
The room was a good size and the bed was super comfortable. It was also easy to keep the temperature right, and the free water and nibbles in the minibar was always welcome. (Be careful to check what's free and what isn't).
Fantastic dusk chorus from the masses of birds in the trees up the drive, and amazing to see the fruit bats making their way around.
The whole island is lovely, this was a great place to base from.
PROS -
1) Complementary water activities were good.
2) Beach & swimming pool area was beautiful, nice and clean.
3) Morning , afternoon, evenings & night times were beautiful at resort and pool side.
CONS-
1) In bathroom for our room , the exhaust vent was not working, even after complaining many times, it was not addressed.
2) Entire Room had 3 lamps, while bathroom had 8 lights, which made Room look dull during night time.
3) There were no 'night cultural activities' on any night of our 4 nights stay, we checked in on Saturday morning & checkout on Wednesday noon. This was big disappointment because we missed watching any cultural activities.
4) Couple message was not up to the mark, me & wife both didn't felt relaxed after it, pressure was bit too much.
5) Indian food served didn't taste good, chapatis were not good, paneer kadai served in 1 dinner was tasteless and chapati served became hard in 10 mins after serving.
Conclusion- Overall will not recommend outrigger mauritius resort considering its premium cost, its not Value for money at all. We met tourists living in other resorts, some living in 'Anelia' mentioned that indian food served was good there. so if indian then one can checkout Anelia for better food experience.

My recent experience at this hotel was a complete disaster, and I strongly advise against putting yourself or your loved ones at risk.
Upon our arrival, we were shocked to learn that a legionella test conducted by the Ministry of Health had yielded a positive result at the hotel. We were never informed about this prior to our arrival, and it left us feeling anxious and unsafe.
Legionella is a potentially life-threatening bacteria that can cause severe respiratory problems and pneumonia, especially for people with weakened immune systems. We felt like we were being used as guinea pigs to test whether new arrivals would get infected. The hotel seemed to be open only to a limited number of people, and we felt like we were trapped in a dangerous situation.
The hotel staff's only solution was to offer us alternative accommodation at other hotels, but none of the options they provided were up to the standard we had originally hoped for. It was our honeymoon, and we wanted to create memories that would last a lifetime, but instead, we were left feeling deeply disappointed and emotionally drained.
We spent our days worrying about our safety and well-being instead of enjoying the beautiful surroundings and each other's company. This was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but instead, it was ruined by the hotel's lack of care and consideration.
I urge anyone considering booking a stay at the Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort to reconsider until they can guarantee their guests' safety and well-being. This hotel has shattered our dreams, and we will never be able to get those precious moments back.

Rooms are bit older but still feels nice and cozy.
Great selection of food.
For breakfast I really enjoyed Plantation club. Manager Dinson always provide amazing service and welcoming atmosphere. He was really great. I really enjoyed Plantation club. More rooms could be reconstructed in similar style like Plantation club.
Also special thanks to Melissa on reception. She was super nice and made a great first impression, also provided us all information we need.
