TWIGA SAFARI LODGE

The photos do it no justice, you have to go there and experience it for yourself whatever the age! (Our age ranged from 16 to 73, but my brother recently visited with two children 4 and 6 years and echoed the same positive experiences).
If something wasn’t right they would fix it or find a way to make it more comfortable. But honestly, there wasn’t anything we could complain about. The food was plenty, even with a limit to 3 choices on the menu (for each meal and different everyday) and my husband and daughter had allergies. They were able to provide alternatives if we asked (breakfast was an open buffet with the lovely chef out to cook breakfast in front of you, a lovely treat).
On safari and driving into the park we saw leopard, lions, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, crocodiles, water buffalo, hippos. Also try a river boat experience we enjoyed a morning tour up to the waterfall, we drove independently to the falls but didn’t do the hike and an early evening safari.
You have come to experience nature at its best, the sounds, the views, the animals and the people. Appreciate the experience rather than compare it to a city break! We would have stayed an extra 3 days if we had known how wonderful it was going to be.
Don’t forget to bring binoculars, mozzi spray, jacket evening safaris and a visa/mastercard as some experiences will only accept card.
Thank you Twiga, we will definitely be back!!
