Wir waren 1 Woche im Twin seaview im 4. Stock. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, aber man sieht das es langsam in die Jahre kommt wenn man genauer hinsieht, was jetzt nichts schlimmes ist, weil das Hotel bemüht ist es im Stand zu setzen. Hier und da etwas kaputt, oder etwas alt. An anderen Stellen wieder sehr neu und modern. Das Personal liest wünsche Praktisch von den Lippen ab und hilft auch bei etwas sonderbaren wünschen mit allem was ihnen zur verfügung steht. Die Preise sind absolut ok und nicht überzogen. Der checkin war auch einfach nur angenehm und schnell. Wasserspender zum trinken gibt es verteilt im Hotel for free. Die Cocktails muss man unbedinft probiert haben! Transit zum und vom Hotel organisiert und auch ohne Probleme. Das Wlan ist absolut brauchbar und die Fernseher sind alles Smart TV's, das bedeutet man kann im Urlaub seine Lieblingsserie auf zb. Netflix weitersehen. Unser Zimmer war mit einem Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Mir fällt leider nichts negatives ein außer das der Wasserdruck von der Dusche etwas stärker sein könnte, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Allso mein Fazit ist das dieses Hotel seine Sterne verdient trägt und wir für nächstes jahr wahrscheinlich wieder zu besuch sein werden.

Hotel meraviglioso! Se dovessi ritornare a malta lo sceglierei di nuovo!! Pulizia ottima, personale gentilissimo, cibo ottimo.. tutto perfetto!

Amazing views - conveniently placed - day receptionist Maryrose is so lovely and so helpful. Very welcoming. This is our 4th visit to Malta. Staying at Gillieru 3 times now. Lots of updates and changes since 2018. Rooms have had a makeover. More modern and very pleasant. More seating outside the hotel. A lovely coffee shop also open to the public. Felt like coming home well definitely be back. Gillieru well done on your upgrades all make for a pleasant stay.

La posizione dell hotel è ottima vista mare con bella piscina. Vicina al porto per fare escursioni e anche alle fermate bus per spostarsi ( anche se consiglio di usare Bolt per le lunghe percorrenze).
Purtroppo il servizio lascia a desiderare, il personale sebbene gentile non è efficiente nella pulizia delle camere e nella fornitura del necessario.
Inoltre il bagno della nostra camera (economy) era sprovvista di alcune cose essenziali.
Il ristorante è carino e buono. Da provare almeno una sera.

4 stelle sulla carta e sul conto. Stanze vecchie, scomode e poco illuminate. Personale a dir poco inospitale e scortese. Colazione davvero scarsa e non all'altezza del prezzo.
Unica cosa positiva è la posizione in una zona tutto sommato tranquilla e i dispenser di acqua filtrata al piano per poter riempire le borracce.

A truly enjoyable short vacation in a well located hotel surrounded with beautiful seascape and promenades . Staff and administrators are very helpful and friendly. You would want to be back for an other stay!

Tolle Lage und sehr sauber. Leider lässt der Service viel zu wünschen übrig! Man kann nicht aus Zimmer abrechnen, was unbequem ist wenn man schwimmen geht, da man immer Zahlungsmittel bei sich tragen muss. Auf Anfrage nach einem Bügelbrett bekamen wir eine Art Reisebrett ohne Füsse und ein Mini Bügeleisen. Das Frühstück ist von durchschnittlicher Qualität und einfallslos ohne Abwechslung. Das Personal ist unflexibel und Kassierorientiert. Es gibt bessere Hotels und Standorte auf Malta!

A tale of 2 half's, firstly hotel has a good situation right on the harbour but you need to book rooms overlooking harbour otherwise you get the busy road side. The hotel and outside looks 4 star. Lobby and restaurant were you have breakfast spacious. Food is good and a good selection. Nice small pool overlooking harbour. What let's this hotel down and were I disagree with its 4 star rating are the rooms. Very very tired and very outdated, although very clean. They need to totally modernise them and bring them into the 21st century. The toiletries are basic. Besides this I really enjoyed my stay and I would recommend you staying here and I would come back due to its situation.

As always our holiday was lovely staying at the Gilleru friendly staff helpful. rooms were upgraded this year which had a nice touch location beautiful. See you again soon Gilleru

Really pleased with this hotel.
Friendly reception staff, not so friendly cafe staff at times. Feel like I was being a burden asking for a drink at times.
Despite this have rebooked for next year. Excellent room and pool.

Obsługa w recepcji bardzo pomocna, zawsze uśmiechnięta. Śniadania średnie, ale głodnym się nie jest. Dobra baza wypadowa dla osób, które chcą zwiedzić Gozo i Maltę. Pokoje czyste z klimatyzacją. Panie sprzątające bardzo sympatyczne.

O chuveiro tem pouca pressão de água e algumas estruturas do quarto estão mal tratadas. Mas de resto uma boa experiência.

I booked in on the 28th of June I had a couple of problems at first but they were quickly ironed out by the staff at the reception and now I am very happy here and I will be staying at this hotel again ????

Fenomenalan hotel na samoj obali. Imate sve što vam treba. Sobe čiste i prostrane, osoblje fenomenalno, prava kućna atmosfera, odavno se nisam tako lepo proveo. Svaka preporuka za hotel.

Stayed for 2 weeks, view brilliant, location was good. Quiet area , with easy access to bars & restaurants.
Rooms were a good size but dated. Shower was always cold in the morning and when we asked at reception, we were told to let it run for 5 minutes but this made no difference. Luckily, by about 4-5pm you could get hot water. Sink took forever to drain until my partner used his hand as a plunger to unblock!
Supplies of tea, coffee, milk and shower gels were very small and hit and miss as to whether you had these replaced. Some days we got one milk, another 3. Similar with shower gel. Very strange.

A superb hotel right on Stc Paul's Bay... St Paul's Bay named because it was here that the apostle Paul found friendship after the ship that he was in was shipwrecked, read about it in Acts chapter 27.

First off, the staff were excellent. Full marks to them. Always friendly and polite, and any issue was dealt with immediately. The location is excellent, too. Our room had two balconies, one of which had more privacy and a better view.
What's not so great is that the hotel really needs a refurbishment. Most obvious is the bathroom, where there is absolutely nowhere to put your toiletries. I had to put my contact lens stuff on the sink. Even a shelf would have been enough. There's also no towel rail, so you have to put the towel on the toilet, or try draping it over the sink.
The room has two usable power sockets, one of them used by the kettle. Considering that everybody these days has at least one mobile device, that's not enough. There was a European style socket, but unless they installed an entirely separate electrical system, that's a major safety hazard because there is no fuse.
The beds are too short. I'm 1.85m, which is tall by Maltese standards, but really nothing exceptional for tourists. So I had a choice between having my feet stick out, or bump my head on the massive headboard affixed to the wall. I did both, incidentally.
There was some minor issue with the towels; one day, we only got large towels, which is inconvenient to dry your hands. Also, the teabags were never restocked.
We had a wonderful time, but these are issues that the management should address urgently.

The reception team were always friendly, courteous and helpful, especially Mary Rose, who helped us book some excursions and provided endless information about places to visit - a lovely lady.
The breakfast staff were always cheerful and the hotel offered an excellent range of foods, always well presented and fresh.
There were also very good dining options for other main meals and snacks throughout our stay.
We took full advantage of the salt water pool, so refreshing after a day of sight seeing, and never overcrowded.
We are already making provisional plans to return in 2025, as we have other plans in place for next year.
