We had an amazing experience, the room was really clean and comfortable with a beautiful view, it was my second time staying in intercontinental hotel, the first one was in Kabul.
Unfortunately at that time I didn’t even remembered to take a single photo:(

Hotel godny polecenia. Świetna lokalizacja i miła obsługa

Good location with a view to Al Danube river
Good service but not clean enough
Breakfast was full with all types of food
You can get your coffee in a carton cup and have a set to the river

The very kind staff, the plentiful international breakfast, the only flaw! that we need International cuisine or rather Hungarian cuisine rather than Lebanese cuisine inside such an important hotel It doesn't make any sense!!! Sin! also because Lebanese cuisine who knows it? their community but no more! I repeat, he has no qualifications at world level and therefore should not be in an InterContinental 5 ***** hotel. Not good at all, sorry. We are sure that many guests like us don't like it. Too bad we want to have dinner but when we discovered that Lebanese cuisine was served inside the hotel we were disappointed. We said to ourselves that we were in the wrong country? No because we don't like it we are forced to go out for dinner every night

The interior is somewhat old but the service makes up for it

I am writing to express my frustration during my recent stay at the Intercontinental hotel Budapest, Hungary.
While I had high hopes for a comfortable and enjoyable experience, I must express my extreme disappointment with several aspects of my visit.

As a frequent traveller who values high quality accommodation and service my experience fell far below expectations.

Choosing to book this hotel, was the worst decision I have made in the past 10 years of staying with the IHG brand worldwide.
In the past 12 months alone, I’ve stayed 228 nights with your brand.

Despite booking a reservation well in advance, and prior arrangements, the check-in process was slow, tiring, inefficient and disorganised, leading to unnecessary delays and frustration.

From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the level of service did not meet the standard I have come to expect from the intercontinental brand.

Firstly, upon arrival, I was greeted with a luck of warmth and professionalism from
Mr. Marten Schoenrock, the hotel general manager. Instead of showing his appreciation for my ongoing loyalty and status, he welcomed me with a lot of unacceptable excuses and boring stories.
Not only that Mr. Marten wasn’t willing to“walk the extra mile” for me, and try to do the maximum, he offered me the minimum and insisted to deny any acceptable resolution.

The overall atmosphere was far from the promised standard of comfort and luxury.
It impacted my ability to relax and unwind.
I have no other way to describe my horrible experience than a shame to the “Intercontinental hotel in Budapest, Hungary.“
and as a disgrace to the respectable IHG brand.

Amazing location with perfect services with outstanding club lounge ????

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. We are 3 as a group, so we added an extra bed in our room with a view.
When we got into our room, it doesn’t feel clean, there’s lipstick on the mug, hair in the bathroom sets. So we called the guest service, they provided us with a new room. I did mention that we are 3 so we’d like our extra bed being prepared before we changed the room. After waiting for a while, someone brought a new room key. We changed to 2 doors next, but the new room is still not very decent, there is hair in the bathtub and the bathtub seemed really dirty. There were weird bits left on the table, not sure if it’s food or booger, I don’t wanna know. Also our extra bed is not made. We were all tired from the travel so didn’t want to complain more. View of the room is fantastic I’m not gonna lie, but overall it does NOT feel like a five star hotel.

Great location, close to the Danube, easy transport, good service, cuisine and drinks

Very nice hotel, located in the city centre just across from the Danube river. The rooms was fine, but there were a lot of broken assets, such as the window that didn’t close properly so we were kept up all night by the people in the pub just across the street. Their amenities was fine and normal for a hotel. We had to wait 15-20 minutes to get seated, because there were a lot of people in the breakfast restaurant. We also had some dinner there, it was descent food compared to others. The staff was nice and polite and overall the hotel was great, but not good enough so that they can advertise it as a five star hotel.

מלון 5 כוכבים, גדול ומרשים מבחוץ ומבפנים.
האיבזור והעיצוב של המלון מפואר אך מיושן ולא עדכני.
קומת הלובי, המסדרונות והמרחבים ציבוריים במלון מתוחזקים היטב ונקיים אך מאובזרים בריהוט ושטיחים מיושנים למדי.
החדרים במלון גדולים ומרווחים אך הריהוט והכלים הסניטריים ישנים ומעט בלויים.
החדר מאובזרים במיטה מרווחת, טלויזיה חכמה, ספת יחיד לישיבה, שידות ומנורות מיושנות, ארון בגדים גדול, כספת, מיני בר (בתשלום) ומכונת קפה עם קפסולות.
השירות במלון מעולה! היחס בקבלה מסביר פנים ואדיב, שירות חדרים מהיר ומקצועי.
חגגנו שם אירוסין ויום הולדת, שידרגו אותנו ללא עלות לחדר עם נוף לנהר הדנובה (חדר יקר יותר) ושלחו לנו עוגה ושמפניה בתאריך היום הולדת.
בגלל שאנחנו חברי מועדון של רשת המלונות IHG, קיבלנו עזיבה מאוחרת והחזרת חדרים בשעה 14:00 (במקום ב-12:00).
ארוחת בוקר טובה ומגוונת, השירות בחדר האוכל טוב ומאוד יעיל.
המלון גדול ומכיל המון אפשרויות, מתחם לובי רחב ידיים, מסעדות ייחודיות, מתחם ספא גדול הכולל בריכה מקורה, סאונה יבשה ורטובה, חדרי מסאג', חדר כושר מאובזר היטב ועוד.
המיקום של המלון טוב מאוד, סמוך לשפת נהר הדנובה המפורסם- נהר החוצה את בודפשט ל"בודה" ו"פשט" (ישנם חדרים הפונים לדנובה וניתן להינות בהם מנוף מדהים וייחודי לנהר הדנובה), סמוך ל"גשר השלשלאות", במרחק הליכה מהמלון אפשר להגיע לחנויות רבות, בתי קזינו, מלונות נוספים, רחוב האופנה (fashion street), הגלגל הענק, בניין ה"פרלמנט", "אנדרטת הנעליים", רחוב "וואצי אוצה" המדובר, רשתות בגדים ומותגים,מקומות בילוי, אוכל רחוב אותנטי, מסעדות, מזון מהיר ועוד.
בקרבת המלון יש גישה להמון תחבורה ציבורית, מוניות, bolt, מטרו, אוטובוסים וכו.

Very convenient location. The food was as good as it good get for a hotel. Service was exquisite.

Amazing hotel with absolutely the best view of Pest! Very cozy rooms great service and an amazing breakfast! I also booked with IHG points so i didn't pay!

Super hotel situé près du pont des chaînes et proche de toutes les commodités pour visiter Budapest. La chambre est belle et propre, le service est irréprochable. Le personnel est efficace et le petit déjeuner est excellent.
