Excelente restaurante en un antiguo almacén de ladrillo, ambiente cálido y elegante, menú ultra local y de temporada.
Este es un excelente restaurante que bien merece una visita. Se encuentra a un paso del centro, en un antiguo almacén de ladrillos, patrimonio cultural de Ámsterdam. La habitación es luminosa, espaciosa y elegante: vigas de madera a la vista, cocina abierta, muebles modernos. El ambiente es sencillo y cálido. El menú, que cambia con las estaciones, está elaborado con productos locales y ultrafrescos por Xander Waller y el chef Arvid Schmidt. Es una experiencia gustativa que no debe perderse. La carta de vinos es una maravilla. Asegúrate de hacer una reserva.

En Entrepot, servimos comida emocionante pero cómoda con una selección de unos 150 vinos. Desde noviembre de 2017, nuestro restaurante se encuentra en la emblemática Entrepotdok, en la esquina de la acogedora Kadijksplein.
Nuestro chef Arvid cocina principalmente con productos locales y de temporada. Basándose en este principio, elabora cada día un menú de calidad. La carta de vinos tiene un carácter dinámico y europeo, con vinos principalmente franceses y algunos de Italia, Alemania, España y Austria. En su primer año, Entrepot recibió un 9 del periodista culinario Hiske Versprille y un 8,5 del periodista culinario Joël Broekaert .

Superbly cooked food served with care and dedication to flavour and quality served on a relaxed dining hall where industrial shiek meets the showmanship and production of talented people doing their art to the highest levels.
Highly recommend making a pilgrimage here any time you are in the Amsterdam area.
The first and second course were very similar to each other and nothing special (first one was an onion, which we thought was an odd choice). We found the raw fish too strong flavour wise and difficult to finish.
The shrimp cake was too salty and not pleasant to eat (again, the flavour was not our thing).
The meat was ok, but some of us found the flavours too strong. Our friends barely ate it.
The dessert was a little disappointing too: the combination of chocolate and artichoke could have been interesting, but the artichoke was way too present.
I chose the place because I had eaten there before and the food was nice (a la carte) - maybe we were just very unlucky this time?
Personeel voor Amsterdamse begrippen aller aardigst. Eten kan tikkie beter?
What we liked:
- good value for money (we took the 5 course menu)
- nice open wine selection
- nice casual style, open kitchen
- interesting courses to taste
What could be improved:
- we were all missing a ‚wow, this is great dish‘ - it was all solid, experimental, but nothing where I would have asked for doing the course once again
But all in all, great experience, definitely worth it.
