It's a youth hostel. My room was private, and it had enough capability to be comfortable. I greatly appreciated the pub on site, and the scheduled afternoon activity for hiking up Mount Royal.

Clean, welcoming, fun decor. Our room was very nice, and we loved the cafe and complimentary breakfast. Nice group of people staying at Auberge Saintlo. Would highly recommend.

I went to Montreal to attend a funeral of a very close friend and my coworker suggested I stay at Auberge SaintLo - she had stayed there with her 8 year old twins the summer before and loved it! The moment I walked in, I was so happy I was there! There is a great vibe of life and energy. The aesthetics are upbeat, welcoming, and well cared for. At all times during my stay the staff were open and friendly and very focused on being sure your questions were answered fully - saw one staff member have to turn away a couple who did not have a booking (and they were full) and spend about 20 minutes looking online for them to find another accommodation within their budget. All the staff were approachable and always connected with a smile and cheer. The rooms are as pictured and I was very comfortable on my mattress. All amenities are fresh and cared for, nothing looking run down or marked up. Staff work for accommodation, shared living space for all - guests & staff. Open and bright rooms available that are dedicated for those that need to work. Absolutely reasonably priced. I give a hearty 5 stars and would stay again! Thank you to all the staff for their welcoming spirit, friendly smiles and making all the travelers that stay, feel warmly welcomed, safe and cozy! Michael

Séjour de 6 nuits pour un groupe de 35 élèves et 5 accompagnateurs.
Tout simplement excellent.
Très propre.
Personnel convivial et super accueil.
Repas très bon.
Emplacement parfait à 2 pas du métro et en face de l'arrêt de bus pour l'aéroport.
On n'a plus envie de partir !

Excellent hostel, very clean and great communal areas. The staff and volunteers were all very friendly, in particular thank you to the person who greeted me on my first day, was patient while I practiced my French, and helped direct me to go see the eclipse!

One of the best hostels i've ever stayed in! Affordable and clean while also being really social and having a fun vibe. The privacy curtains in the dorms are a really great touch and one I wish I saw in more hostels!

Really amazing place to stay. This was my first hostel experience and it was really amazing. They have great staff. The hostel is very clean, private and safe. It was very easy to meet new people and socialize with them. Very close to downtown area and has some great restaurants and bars nearby. The hostel also has fun activities and events planned every night which made the experience more memorable. Had an amazing time there and can’t wait to go back in the future!

L'équipe de Saintlo est simplement géniale. L'auberge est un peu perdue au milieu des buildings mais proche de tout en quelques stations de métro. C'est un lieu où tout le monde se retrouve. Merci pour tout !

Stayed twice already. Great value, great location, safe and clean facilities. Fun people.
Reservation, check in , check out all procedures are amazingly simple and consistently well done. The staff are all very helpful and can even help prepare an itinerary for touristy stuff.
Location is perfect, close to many good restaurants, bus route and station Lucien L'Allier, which makes everything accessible

Rented a room with 3 bunk beds with a couple friends for an easter weekend trip and we loved it. The location was perfectly downtown around so many bars, restaurants and clubs. We walked eveywhere, eveything was within a 15 min walk proximity. The staff was very nice as well! Loved the bar/common area in the basement. The hostel also hosted events which was a great way to meet people! Only thing that went wrong was for one night the toilet didnt flush but we told them and they fixed it in the morning. I 100% recommend!

I recently stayed at this hostel and was pleasantly surprised by its excellent location and friendly staff. The hotel offers great value for its price, situated conveniently near popular attractions and transportation hubs. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. Fantastic experience. However, wouldn’t recommend for folks with accessibility needs or severe sensory issues. The bunk was cozy. The bagels and coffee in the morning were very much appreciated. On a lovely quiet street right next to Centre Bell. I took off some stars from the room because there were renovations occurring on my floor, the floor of the room was a bit dusty, and the soap in the shower was basically useless.

Muy bonne auberge, limpio, y bien acondicionada en diferentes plantas, con lavandería, Internet, bar, televisión… Cerca del centro y de la calle santa Catalina, es una muy buena opción de alojamiento económico, con una buena relación calidad-precio.

Magnífico posada, con trato muy acogedor (como a menudo en Quebec).Numerosa actividades que ofrece. Personalmente, recomiendo la paseo por Mont Royal, que termina con un " dégustation" de poutine, experiencia pendiente excepcional, así como la gira de los bares organizada por el auberge, que permite reunirse.Cabe destacar que el AJ dispone de un bar en el sótano, muy agradable para lier ver los otros establecimientos de AJ.El pequeño menos: Internet de pago si no tienes el equipamiento, si no, wi-fi gratuito.Buena estancia
