When we go back to Dublin we're staying here again. Staff is excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. We liked our lower level room and enjoyed the tea and biscuits that were provided in the room along with their daily breakfast next door. Having your own transportation here is not necessary. The train is a quarter mile down the road and will take you anywhere you want to go.
Nice hotel with nice staff. The breakfast is delicious.
The only thing is the noise. Construction workers have been working right next to the hotel all week. These start at 7 am and continue until 7 pm. This is from Monday to Saturday. And as soon as the construction workers are finished, the clubs start to open, also a lot of noise. We were lucky that we were at the back of the hotel. But if you have a room at the front, no chance to sleep. And earpluggs are not going to do it... Very sad, cause the hotel itself is fine. But if you attach any value to your rest, don't book this hotel!
Methane in the room from the toilets and when I complained receptionist just said Yeah I know…..so I was checked into a room with a known problem that was unsanitary.
I am deeply disappointed with the customer support policy of this hotel. Planning to celebrate my birthday in Ireland, I made hotel and flight reservations and applied for a tourist visa. Understanding the delay in visa processing and unable to obtain the necessary document. Before two days, I requested to cancel my booking, explaining the cancellation due to circumstances beyond my control. Unfortunately, the company's management decided to withhold the entire payment for the booking, despite cases like these typically warranting only a one-day charge. The administration chose to keep the full amount and resell these rooms. I am incredibly disappointed by this hotel's treatment of its customers. They have been added to my blacklist due to their unfriendly policies. The outcome is sorrowful; I paid a significant amount for my dream trip, which didn't happen because of unforeseen circumstances and further disappointment in the hospitality of this country, based on my personal experience. I strongly advise against booking this hotel for tourists who need to acquire a visa, as visa processing delays may leave you in a regrettable situation. Rating: one star.
Comfortable and quiet. Clean and tidy. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're staying in some stately home somewhere. Very central in Dublin though.
