A wonderful find and now a favorite. Food so thoughtfully prepared. Each course so flavorful. Roasted octopus starter was amazingly tender. Spinach and ricotta gnudi with truffle bechamel the best I’ve tasted. Pici senesi with meatballs so rich and hearty…perfect bite to the pasta. Homemade bread was the best we’ve tasted in our 7 years visiting Florence. The “soft-hearted” chocolate cake with caramel sauce and fresh raspberries was a melt in your mouth, chocolate decadence experience. This husband and wife team are amazing hosts!

Tasty Food in a Wonderful RestaurantWe read about Catina Barbagianni online and booked it. Even though I had high expectations the food and service far exceeded them. We arrived about 20 min before our reservations and were promptly greeted and seated. The waiter spoke splendid English and was very familiar with the dishes. We ordered some wine to pair with our food and it was also a delight. In terms of food we started with the octopus which came with a red wine sauce. The octopus was soft and tender and the sauce complimented it wonderfully. The flavors blended beautifully, and were subtle. Siamo stati ieri sera in questo ristorante grazie a uno Smart box. Posto molto bello, rilassante con cucina di alta qualità. Personale gentilissimo e ci ha aiutato anche con il piccolino. Un ottima scoperta a Firenze! Ci torneremo!!!

Hanno un sacco di piatti creativi! Tutto quello che c'è nel menu mi fa venir voglia di provarlo! Il gusto è di mio gradimento. Ritorneremo sicuramente! Posto molto caldo e incantevole. Anche i camerieri sono molto cordiali.

Estuvimos cenando en este lugar y el ambiente es precioso y la atención de Lina maravillosa, sin embargo esperábamos un poco más de la comida, ya que para el precio que se paga no estuvo a la altura de nuestras expectativas, nada sobresalía especialmente, y el postre no nos gustó.

Il locale è una chicca...noi eravamo nella saletta di sotto molto intima....il cofanetto che ci hanno regalato comprendeva 4 portate che noi non siamo riusciti a finire...il cibo è sublime e molto curato...
Il personale non lascia niente al caso ed è molto gentile...

Υπέροχο μέρος! Περάσαμε παραμονή πρωτοχρονιάς εκεί! Φαγητά και κρασι υπέροχο όπως και τα γλυκα που φάγαμε στο τέλος! Το προσωπικό ήταν πραγματικά φιλικό και η ατμόσφαιρα από τα πιο ωραία μέρη που έχω παει !

Un ristorante tranquillo, bello e curato a 2 passi dal Duomo, con del personale gentile, disponibile e preparato.
Il cibo è davvero delizioso, abbiamo preso un antipasto di casa, un primo, due secondi e un dolce - tutto freschissimo, con dei gusti delicati e abbinamenti ricercati e armoniosi. Buonissima la bistecca con cioccolato e lamponi ????
È possibile anche fare una prenotazione tramite The fork che ha degli ottimi sconti.

Si vous aimez la bonne cuisine, que vous êtes un épicurien, si vous avez un goût prononcé pour les bons produits allez-y. Bien loin des restaurants special Instagram, cette enseigne nous offre ce que l’on venait autrefois chercher restaurant : du calme, du plaisir et même de la surprise. Les recettes sont originales et osées tout en restant plein de maîtrise. Le fait qu’il n’y ait que 16 couverts rend le moment encore plus intime tout en restant très chaleureux. C’est un grand bravo pour ce que vous proposez et un grand merci pour ce que vous nous avez offert.

Comida insuperable, sabores finos y especiales florentinos y otros. Servicio con Rosa y Rubén maravilloso, nos hicieron pasar un rato como en casa y sintiéndonos especiales. El precio 25 euros aproximadamente. por persona con una copa de vino y comida elaborada. Repetiré sin duda cuando vuelva a Florencia.

No hay ni un solo plato en la carta que no quisiera probar!! Hemos cenado aqui y ha sido espectacular, el sitio acogedor e íntimo, la atencion de Rosa y Rubene super cercana y agradable y la comida estaba de 10. Y además, calidad precio esta super super bien. Recomendadisimo si vienes a Florencia ????????????????????‍????

What an amazing place in a beautiful city. From the moment you arrive until after you leave, you feel special coming here. The food is superb and the service is exceptional. We had the special beef fillet with porcini mushrooms and a sirloin with green peppercorn sauce both were cooked perfectly and the side of sautéed spinach was amazing. Rose is the most welcoming host and you are sure to feel looked after with her at he helm. There is a belief that you can only regret the things you don’t do. If you don’t dine here when in Florence then you will have something to regret.

Amazing hidden gem, went for my a birthday and we had a spectacular meal. Gnuddi with truffle were the best food I’ve had in Florence, and the cheese plate is honestly very good value for money, the cheese and jam/truffle honey pairing were out of this world. They even put a candle on the tiramisu en the end. Would definitely recommend and go again

Accueil et service correct. Le plat de viande à la réduction balsamique etait tres acide et tres peu réduit. Ambiance cosy.

Tout était parfait. Nous avons pris un plat et un dessert. La serveuse énergique et de parfait conseil, c'était un plaisir de se laisser faire. Le cadre super cosi. La viande (tagliata) était délicieuse et les accompagnements plein de goûts. Le dessert méringué est vraiment à recommander, léger, super fin. Waaaah.

En reservant sur la fourchette ( the fork) nous avons eu 30% de reduction sur l addition même sur le vin. La salle est très petite, la nourriture est bonne et avec cette reduction, c est un bon rapport qualité prix
