The location was great! You could easily walk to Berchtesgaden in 15 minutes. The walk is very scenic. There is no city noise to interrupt the great views from the grounds or when you sleep in the room with the window open. The rules are very clear when you need to check in and because i followed them it went smoothly. Suzie who checked us in was friendly and service focused. When my wife wasnt happy with the view from our balcony, Suzie happily switched us with a smile. Breakfast was typical german buffett with plenty of müsli. The pool was great! And for all those pissing and moaning about Wi-Fi...it worked just fine. You could buy beer and wine in a common area. Lots of parking. It was a great stay!

Angenehme und freundliche Inhaber. Swimmingpool, Sauna, Dampfbad und Infrarotkabine sind toll nach einer Wanderung! Die Zimmer sind geräumig und angenehm. Und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Kurzum: gerne wieder!

Kleines feines Hotel wo der Chef noch selber das Frühstück macht.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Grüße aus Leipzig

Wij waarderen dit hotel enorm. De kamers zijn mooi schoon en ruim. Wel basic. Maar gewoon prima en heel comfortabel. Mooi zwembad met uitzicht op de bergen. Direct aan meerdere wandelroutes. De familie Plank is heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt is uitgebreid genoeg om een week lang gevarieerd te ontbijten. Enige nadeel is dat je er in de avond niet kan eten omdat er geen restaurant is. Hiervoor wordt je "gedwongen" om naar een restaurant in de stad te gaan. Dat is echter geen straf want er zijn veel leuke restaurants Bergtesgaden. Absolute aanrader!
