A quiet and tranquil stay, thank you Mike for your hospitality, we look forward to returning and experiencing the boat cruise as this time around the water level was too low.
We had a pleasant 2 night stay at this place..The owners go out of their way for the clients..we booked very late and towards their closing hours but they extended their service and even offered to keep the kitchen open for us way late into the night so we could eat.we were very comfortable and well taken care of...their food is also worthy what you pay for..i would bring friends and family here...however the cleaners need to be thorough there were spiderwebs in some parts of the room...overally we had a memorable stay.!!!!
A lovely location, but the staff especially the owner are extremely rude. We booked my nieces birthday party for 20 children, the owner was grumpy, uninterested and generally rude. He needs to work on his customer service. Won't be booking anything here again despite it being a nice venue, the customer service was appalling.
EDIT : The response just reiterates my point that the customer service at this establishment is appalling. Such a shame because, the venue itself is lovely. I am your client, I came to your venue with my sister before we made the booking and went on to suggest that we actually booked your place instead of an alternative venue. Despite me not being the person that made the booking for the party, I bought meals for my family members which I paid for. The meals took over an hour to be brought out to us, my family had to the your staffs job and clear tables ourselves due to your staffs incompetence, and when you were questioned about all these things you were dismissive and passive aggressive. Learn to be nicer, it costs nothing. If you are just a grumpy miserable old man, you'd rather employ staff who are capable of engaging with people in an appropriate manner. Must I remind you that upon arrival you were having a misunderstanding with other customers. You generally don't know how to talk to people and your response highlights that. We need nothing from you, and we don't need you to rectify our experience which is why we never complained on the day, however I felt it necessary to ensure I highlight how you behave towards people who are trying to support your business. There is a reason why you don't have bookings. And it's mainly from what I can see due to your overall approach to customer. I'd even go on to say your behaviour was ironically only fowl towards people of colour. Can I remind you that you are in fact in Africa, and that's where your business is located. BE NICE, it's FREE.
We were there for one night. The boat cruise was tranquil. The food was tasty, especially the ribs. The rooms were good. The only thing we didn't fancy was the water pressure in the bathroom. Overall we had a lovely time.
I stayed at Croc river pools for a week for a work trip, the team went above and beyond to ensure that our team was accommodated for! We were treated to take away breakfasts, dinners ready for us when we got back at night and amazing conversations about Botswana’s history! To top it off, the boat cruise was more than incredible.
Best spot if You will stay near Gaborone. Nature, Boat trip, dreaming beds. Best owner. Game drives near. Also Game drive in South Africa just 40km. RiverbBoat Cruise is very unique experience near Gaborone.
I was turned away because I have a dog, A WELL BEHAVED ONE FOR THAT MATTER! And yet they keep dogs on the property. They were rude and I would not recommend going to this place, disgusting treatment..better way to communicate to customers
Claim and beautiful nature experience. As a family, we all enjoyed seeing the different birds and Crocodiles! The staff and tour guide were helpful and informative!
It was a beautiful experience and we all enjoyed trip....The tour guide was informative, he knew the area very well, the different birds around and the nile Crocodile, which migrated all the way from Egypt. It was our day cos we saw a good number of these Crocodiles basking on the river bank......A beautiful boat cruise just around the city.....who would expect that....
Great view points, but no wide range of food available in the restaurant. No Fish, No Chicken No salad only Beef and French fry available. It was really disappointing on my visit.

Wonderful experience. Would maybe suggest to close over the non rainy season as places in the river it is very shallow and the boat get stuck, but on the otherhand it is a wonderful experience to 'dance' the boat out of the water. Beautiful sun sets. Mike keep up the good work!!!! Please try the Maroela juice...... amazing!!!
So far the best place to visit in Gaborone, the view is just breath taking, from sunrise to sunset.. The Boat ride , the Food and the service in this place is amazing. I just can't seem to get over it.
