Firstly my friend she ordered a Moroccan tea, and she waited for 75 mins to get tea to the table.
Secondly we waited for 90 minutes for someone to come take an order from the table.
Thirdly we ordered Hummus Beiruti, Muhammara, Shish Tawook, Shish Kabab, and some few dishes.
We found out after 20 mins, they don’t have muhammara, the hummus came as plain hummus, which was pretty average.
Both the chicken and meat dishes came pretty dry and they were in no way standards of the restaurant one and only has.
The manager was not at all apologetic, and we were not attended well.
I was supposed to celebrate my husband’s birthday during the stay and it turned to be wasting time changing rooms and waiting for food for long time. Manager of the grill beach was super rude didn’t allow my nanny to join us for lunch since they don’t serve food by the pool.. racist
Enjoyed the experience, had a 60 min thai massage, the Léa the massage expert was really good. After the massage has some serene time in their relaxing area where they are offering différent types of tea and dates.
The only disadvantage that to use the facility (steam room and sauna ) I had to go to the ground floor and it was not directly connected to the changing room and the relaxing area.
But still Highly Recommended.
The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and professional unfortunately this is the only positive note of this experience.
I upgraded to 90 min massage instead of 60min as I usually enjoy longer massages except this time I was looking forward to the end and I finally asked to switch to the facial as I wasn’t enjoying the very basic massage I was provided with.
The massage especially on my arms and legs consisted in rubbing back and forth with hot stones and hands, I was waiting for a little more technique by coming to this spa.
To end the experience, I was directly sent to the locker room which surprised me so I had to inquire if I could use the resting area after my « 2hour » ritual, the therapist seemed surprised but took me there.
I expressed my disappointment while leaving the spa and was told I would be contacted to hear more about my experience. This was last Monday since then no one tried to reach out.
Erst das positive: es ist ein wunderschönes Resort und das Hotel Restaurant „The dining Room“ ist hervorragend. Auch der Service und die Mitarbeiter sind alle durchweg sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Nun zum negativen:
Rund um das Hotel finden Bauarbeiten statt. Der Lärm der Baustellen ist von morgens bis spät in die Nacht zu hören (unserer Vermutung nach gibt es in Dubai keine Nachtruhe o.ä.). Weiterhin hört man ab Mittag/Nachmittags durchgehend bis morgens 5/6 Uhr laute Musik von Yachten und/oder den Nachtclubs die sich in der Bucht am Beginn der Palme befinden. Und dies hört man sehr deutlich in den Zimmern. Wer Lärm empfindlich ist wird hier definitiv nicht zur Ruhe kommen.
Für den Preis, den das Hotel verlangt, ist es unserer Ansicht nach ein Unding, nicht vernünftig zur Ruhe kommen zu können und richtig zu entspannen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist unter aktuellen Bedingungen nicht gegeben. Leider können wir deshalb das Hotel auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Dafür gibt es einfach zu viele Alternativen, um das Geld besser zu investieren.
Uns ist bewusst, dass das Hotel selber nichts für die äußeren Umstände kann. Jedoch ist es einfach nicht im Ordnung bei einem geplanten Entspannungsurlaub, selbst in seinem Zimmer, nicht zur Ruhe kommen zu können (und das bei mehreren Tagen Aufenthalt).
Ich hatte dank euch einen wunderschönen und einzigartigen Geburtstag .

The food is outstanding. Diego the head chef at The Rotiserie will always be on hand to make something special. If the kids would like a Salmon Filet at the buffet, Diego and the team would run off and make one. Thank you!
At Olives restaurant, situated at the Palace, you must ask for Mohsin the chef who again is outstanding at going the extra mile! Thank you Mohsin!
The pool area at the Arabian Court and team are super too. Running the pool area is Akhil who has everything arranged just the way you want it.
Tennis lessons with David and Alexandra I would recommend. We had one every day and our game improved dramatically.
Gym is equipped with all the latest gadgets and a team is there to assist you. Table tennis table by the pool for some afternoon fun.
