The friendly staff were great and took pity on my poor French skills and joked with us about how we could not possibly order food without wine (we're not big wine drinkers), and took it in good faith when we joked about the food being terrible (it was not).
Food wise everything was great taste wise, my other half did find her Le confit de Canard still had a few feather remnants which was a little off putting, but it was the best we had tasted across our week in Paris. My steak was nice, juicy and cooked just so. And while I will never be the worlds biggest fan of escargot, these again were about the best we had across the week.
We were informed that they have live piano music most nights, however, it was our last night in Paris so we did not have the opportunity to go back and enjoy that. We'll definitely go back in the future
