THE NEW BUCCANEERS

Siamo arrivati in questo hotel a malta e devo dire che già che il check-in si fa in un bar non è il massimo va be'ci danno la camera e c'era un puzza di fogna oltre che il bagno piccolo e senza finestra, il lavandino pieno di capelli e di sabbia quindi non pulito bene,finestra della camera che non potevi aprire perché eri contornata da muri.

Given the good reviews, we expected to have a nice stay here but that wasnt the experience we had. The room and breakfast were cheep compared to other places so this is what you get, a cheap feeling. And it is not that we wanted a fancy place, we just wanted a clean decent room (but it looks like cheaper doesn't work with that).
The room was mostly clean but a deep clean cleary has not been done in a long time. Some towels had stains on them. There was hair on the bed when we arrived and on one day on the changed towel left on the bed was a big hair (so this is the attention given when they clean the room). Also on the shower cord, a very very long hair wrapped around it. The room smelled bad, sweet and moldy, a smell that we could not get rid of. The furniture is much older than it seemed in the pictures.
On our 3rd and last night, when we return to the room a big bug was there (as can be seen in the picture).
The breakfast was okish, very cheap things that can be brought from the supermarket beeing offered. Only a few options to chose from and the platery was old and sometimes dirty.
I would not recomend anybody to stay here. Better spend a little more money and get a decent room.
