Un hotel Art Déco de los años 1940 que fue revisado en un espíritu más glamuroso en los años 1950 antes de modernizarse más recientemente, conservando su sello de antaño. Al final, el hotel tiene un estilo muy retro con un toque caribeño pronunciado gracias a un exuberante jardín tropical, a dos pasos de la playa, con acceso directo al mar desde la piscina. Las habitaciones son cómodas y tienen una decoración igualmente retro que el resto del establecimiento. En el jardín hay un bar de cócteles en una casita de los años 1930 con mobiliario y cuadros de época; es realmente un lugar original para descansar. El restaurante del Seagrape sirve cocina de Florida elaborada por la famosa chef Michelle Bernstein. Entre otras comodidades: un spa y una pequeña sala de fitness.

Rooms are small. Front desk was nice and hospitable. The breakfast was good too!
We stayed in an oceanfront 1-bedroom suite, which was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable.
We used the beach and both pools extensively and had a really great time. Unlike some of the other hotels nearby, the pools never felt particularly crowded. The beach has much more distance between the chairs than other places on the strip. Overall a more private and relaxing experience.
Food and drinks were fantastic at the Matador and Market. Room service was a little more variable — we had one bad experience with a Caesar’s salad that came with undercooked chicken twice (sent it back, came undercooked again), but I guess these things happen.
The one issue we had was neighbors who decided to repeatedly flout the hotel’s no-smoking policy over a period of two days — an inconvenience as their smoke kept coming to our balcony. The hotel did offer to move us to another room but we were too settled by then. I was surprised that they didn’t enforce their policy a little more seriously (e.g. ask them to leave).
Overall though we had a fantastic time and we’ll be back!
