Our room corner room was fantastic. You got great views of downtown (particularly at night) and could sit and look over the view of the bay from the bathtub if you wanted. The room was quiet and comfortable. The only slightly unusual thing was the toilet had a frosted glass door, but for some reason with a gap in the frosting on one side, giving your partner a view of you on the toilet from some angles. Strange.
The hotel is in a good location to access Brickell bars and restaurants by foot. It's also only a 15-20 minute ride to get to South Beach. I've stayed in a few hotels across Miami and this definitely stands out as the best.
First of all the rooms feel very “bare bones” no carpet, no rug, just a cold hard floor and a bed in the middle of the room. They could atleast give slippers. Then the glass on the bathroom walls has some grime that seems like it probably doesn’t come off anymore. A little icky. I tried to get room service in the morning and they took it to the wrong room after I waited an hour for it. Then the fire alarm went off atleast 3 times for 20 minutes each time. Nothing about this experience was enjoyable. There are other hotels that cost less and are much nicer. Idk who decides how many stars a hotel gets but 4 seems a little crazy. 3 I would understand.
