Volkshotel, un ingenioso y agradable hotel en la parte este de la ciudad. Para una estancia única en un lugar que le sorprenderá.

El Volkshotel es una dirección privilegiada en el este de la ciudad. Ocupa los antiguos locales del Volkskrant, el principal diario nacional. Las habitaciones se distinguen por su diseño y rara inventiva. Nos encantan las salas temáticas, que bien merecen una visita. No te pierdas la habitación "Bañera Bikou", con su enorme bañera japonesa, es espectacular. La habitación "Bicicleta Blanca", con su cama de tres ruedas acorde con la identidad de la ciudad, es increíble. Nos gustan mucho las zonas de la planta baja, el bar y la discoteca.

Super hôtel, personnel au top, très agréable, endroit super complet (bar, restaurant, etc.), avec offre de qualité. Emplacement parfait, à côté du métro, proche du centre ville à pied... Déco très sympa...

We had such a lovely time in Amsterdam and Volkshotel was a great place to stay. Great location and a good value for the price. The food at Canvas was fantastic and the hot tub/sauna on the roof was such a nice way to end the day. Will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Amsterdam.

An absolutely wonderful stay for 3x nights.
We were in the glorious White room with sunset vistas and panoramic bathtub views to die for. Mrs (who has very discerning taste and expectations!) was very pleased.
Our son and his girlfriend were in a lovely room too which they raved about. Front-desk hospitality was warm, welcoming and on-point with good local advice and very accommodating generosity, lending us some umbrellas for our outing while it poured.
Breakfasts were super tasty, unrestricted and with a decent offering of choices ensuring we could head out each day content and well-stuffed. The hotel is well located on the main road into/out of the main city/tourist area - but within an easy 30 minute walk. Close located trams and metro lines offer quick access to everywhere for those not keen on stretching their legs.
Our White room came with two complimentary bicycles which our son and his girlfriend used to travel more extensively around the city.
Dinners were most enjoyable, with night-time skyline from the panoramic windows complimented with a super menu selection of traditional and modern dishes, all well prepared and tasty.
The rooftop hot-tubs and sauna provided another exceptional viewing and relaxing experience not easily replicated at other venues (within this price range).
Overall an excellent venue and base when visiting Amsterdam.

This hotel was amazing! I stayed with my girlfriend and had the best time! It is about a 40minute ish walk from the centre but it is a nice walk with lots of sights on the way. The hotel is brilliant. Downstairs is a coffee shop which also serves food, beer and cakes. There is also an area to work if needed. On the top floor is a spa with a sauna and hot tubs. Up here is an amazing view of Amsterdam. On the 7th floor there is the restaurant. This transforms into a nightclub in the evening and is open until 3am. This was also amazing. The room was brilliant with a nice sized double bed and great shower. I honestly enjoyed staying here so much and will definitely stay again the next time I’m in Amsterdam! Thanks to all of the staff who were so helpful and friendly during our visit, we got a great couple of recommendations for local food spots from them.
