Situado en lo alto de una colina bordeada de bosque costero en las dunas de Malongane Point, este complejo de lujo es espectacular. Consta de chalés con cocina, Wi-Fi y barbacoa, adecuados para una familia con un niño. Las tiendas de safari dobles están situadas en el bosque. Además de safaris oceánicos (snorkel, nadar con tiburones ballena, delfines, etc.), buceo, quads, la especialidad del complejo es el parapente biplaza. También se ofrecen safaris por el Parque Nacional de Maputo.

The resort common areas are absolutely beautiful, sitting on top of the cliff with a stunning view of the ocean and nature around. The food is amazing!!! Props to the chef! And the receptionist, waiters and other staff are very nice. We stayed one night in a tent and two nights in a chalet. The chalets are super well equipped and the tents are also quite comfortable, except the toilet is outside and you may encounter some frogs or snakes especially at night. Overall the experience was great. The negative point was that they wanted to charge us more than 50€ for a two-way 6km ride in a 4x4 car (from Ponta do Ouro to the resort), which is a crazy amount!! If you are planning to stay at Sky Island, note that this route is impossible in a normal car, you need a 4x4.

I paid 100% of my bill upfront which was kept by the hotel when we had to cancel. They lied about returning 50% of the deposit which I was entitled to. Not trustworthy.

Dear Joe, we are very sorry about your experience. When it comes to international payments, our bank takes time and the process to return funds is not easy, surely if you had a Mozambican or South African account, it would have been immediate.

Simpatia do pessoal, desde o momento da reserva, até ao último dia, sempre dispostos a ajudar.
Local pacato, fora da zona mais turística da Ponta do Ouro, com os bungalows literalmente inseridos na vegetação, tanto é que uma das noites tivemos macacos a passar pelo telhado.
Qualidade das refeições, desde o pequeno almoço bastante generoso e as outras refeições de excelente qualidade e requinte.
