Could have been perfect

Restaurant is a nice setting, high up on a hillside overlooking the sea. Warm, welcome and friendly staff.

We opted for the BAOS tasting menu with the champagne pairing.

Everything was perfect until around course 5 when another table sat down and the staff became more attentative to their needs. We were then left waiting for an unreasonable amount of time for our drink pairing to arrive, after our food had already been placed down. Before this we'd also had top ups where the pairing had been the same for more than one course, however this stopped; or on one occasion was topped up after we had finished the plate of food.

All in all, we had a pleasant evening with nice food, it was just a shame we left feeling a bit 'neglected' by the end.

My girlfriend and I went to Baos at the end of June. Due to various circumstances, my girlfriend was not feeling well that evening and our planned course meal only turned into a short trip to the kitchen, which ended with one course and an early departure.

But the way my girlfriend was looked after (extra wet wipes with decongestants were brought) and how polite and nice as well as concerned everyone was is rare to find. We were also not charged for the meal (after which we unfortunately had to stop after the first course). Also very rare to find.

Next time definitely again, we felt very comfortable for the period of our stay.

Je vous déconseille ce restaurant. Il est peut-être beau mais ça s’arrête là. J’ai choisi ce restaurant car il était dans le top 1 des restaurants à Mykonos. Nous avons détesté ce restaurant nous avions qu’une envie c’était de partir. La cuisine est fade avec des portions microscopiques. Et le pire c’est le personnel qui vous fixent pendant le repas bien pressurisés par le maître d’hôtel. Ils viennent toutes les deux minutes vous resservir, ramasser vos miettes, replacer votre chaise. En bref aucune intimité et on est traité comme des vieux de 90 ans. Ils auraient pas pu mieux gâcher notre dîner romantique d’anniversaire. Je vous déconseille vraiment d’y mettre un pied à part si vous voulez entendre toutes les deux minutes « ENJOY » et être fixé par 4 serveurs durant le repas. Une vraie arnaque le restaurant était vide complet et le prix c’est une blague. A fuir !!!!
