Very clean rooms and the best bedding. I hate staying anywhere that has uncomfortable beds and sheets. The staff was pleasant and on top of their jobs. Wonderful place to stay.
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and had zero hot water the entire time! Two reasons I stay at a hotel, to have a bed and to have a shower. I got half of this service. A manager promised me compensation in the form of a rate adjustment. I have yet to see that after a week. I’ve called everyday to speak to somebody. I’m told the person who needs to help me will call me back. No phone call. Terrible customer service!
We were booked this hotel through our cruise line. First, in our room, we noticed the shower would not get warm. You have nothing but cold water. Took almost an hour for our room reservation to be ready. Half of the lights in our room do not function.
Secondly, food was an issue today. They have a buffet breakfast, which is not complimentary, it cost $18 for one person. You get some eggs, fake dried up sausage, bacon, cold diced potatoes, and some orange juice. I had to shuffle through 8 plates to get a clean one.
Staff is nice and friendly!! The people that work here are very polite and smile, which is always good!
Pool is disgusting, hot tub is half full of brown water
First, we came here on a school trip while it was remodeling, in which in my room the AC was broken, so they gave us a fan for the night. Hotel also ran out of hot water that night. They thankfully got it fixed the next night but couldn't fix the AC in our room, so they had to move us into another room, which apparently didn't have a bathroom lock.
They have a nice, large ballroom so our organization could have a meeting and breakfast in which we expected bacon and eggs from a nice hotel like this, got bread and muffins instead, which were kinda good, cereal was not.
Location is a somewhat reasonable distance from the airport (me personally, I'm a fan of listening to planes take off and land at night) and there was a bit of space on the side of the hotel for the buses to park.
Overall, I think this hotel has potential, as long as you go at the right time.
Right off of Lake Ponchartrain. Everything is close by, it's a huge hotel, and comfy. The staff was also great, which is rare at most Hilton properties these days (yes, I'm a diamond member).
We booked the parking in advance to a trip. It was a breeze. I got to the reception, showed my booking confirmation and got a little slip to display on the dashboard. The price for 10 day parking was reasonable. Free shuttle to and from airport. Will definitely use this again for long term parking. Way cheaper than the parking garage. Shuttle back to the Parking lot picks you up right outside the terminal.
Close to the airport, easy to find. Parking was confusing and the lobby was undergoing renovations. Totally understand needing to update, but that there was only one working elevator was a bit annoying. Otherwise, clean, updated rooms and everyone was very nice.
The remodeling still ongoing. Rooms are old but refurbished and still have a smell. Service was not as expected for a hilton hotel. I didn't get my gold member greeting bag. So I don't recommend it. However the restaurant was great. The food was good and drinks were great.
The clean service enter room while I was sleep took bathroom towels and garbage .Never replace and I feel violated.. Restaurant service beautiful isomers service food good
I stay here regularly for work. The place is a little dated but it has been under construction now for a while. It's still open but being updated which is good. Staff is friendly, beds comfortable, rooms clean. It's well worth the money to stay that close to the airport.
The staff at the front desk is so incredibly rude. Hanging up on multiple people which we discovered as we were all waiting for the shuttle. He then admitted it when we got to the hotel. I’m shocked you have someone so indignant and rude to customers. The shuttle system is terrible and infrequent to the point where almost 25 people accumulated waiting for the van. Do yourself favor and stay at a hotel closer to the airport. Only good thing about this hotel is the comfortable bed.
One of the worst Hilton I’ve visited in years I’m honestly surprised Hilton lets this property fly their flag from the rude driver, unpleasant front desk person and extremely smelly and musty old rooms. The towels smelled horrible the shower leaked and the sink wouldn’t drain. Just overall dirty property with a very unpleasant experience and that’s a lot coming from myself a loyal diamond member. Do better
I was here for a meeting. It he hotel is ring renovated and the construction crew did not care if we could hear in the meeting room. Maybe the organizers were made aware? The restrooms were good, food was amazing, staff were GREAT!
Great place to leave your car for long term parking when flying out of New Orleans Safe and a very good shuttle service. We didn't stay in the hotel just used their parking and shuttle.
The water was shut off. There no water at all (no toilet, sink, shower available) and employees did not give the full extent of the issue. They dispersed water bottles at check in. We were under the assumption this was a short, soon to be rectified situation when in actuality it was a long term on-going issue. The entire lobby was also in the middle of a renovation and everything was pulled up. Bare concrete, tape and protective plastic and paper.

Major renovations happening to bring the glory of top shelf visit and fine dining to the area!
