I travel a lot and this is the worst overall experience I had so far - AVOID IF YOU CAN!
1. The room was excessively dark, and attempts to let in natural light were hindered by taped or covered windows, creating a nearly pitch-black environment. Opening the window exposed guests to sounds like water dripping from aircon unit or some clicking. There was no chance to get a natural light, because the window provided a shaft-view.
2. Persistent clicking noises, both with the window open and closed, disrupted a night's sleep.
3. Online photos depicted amenities like a table and chairs that were absent upon arrival, creating a sense of false advertising. There was also no mention about shaft-view or black window or no natural light etc.
4. The room lacked cleanliness and smelled, with visible brown stains on the sink and bathroom wall - I don't even want to guess what that could be!
5. Promised Wi-Fi worked only on the first day, causing inconvenience despite attempts by the receptionist to resolve the issue.
6. A displeasing odor in the room upon entry suggested inadequate ventilation or cleanliness.
7. Worn-down furnishings and a lack of investment in maintaining a comfortable environment contributed to the overall disappointment and depressing vibe of the room.
8. Difficulty in regulating the water temperature in the shower, swinging between cold and scalding hot.
9. Lack of a duvet and only a thin sheet provided no protection for sleep during winter months
10. Requests to change rooms were futile, with alternatives being disappointingly similar, indicating standard accommodations with persistent issues.
11. The hotel staff's refusal to provide a stay invoice, redirecting responsibility to the booking platform, added unnecessary frustration. Also general lacking in assistance and persistent redirection to the booking platform showcased a disappointment customer service.
I had to check out on the second day of my stay, hotel refused to provide compensation and take any responsibility, so I lost my money, had to book another two partial stays.

Absolutely horrible. Elena the receptionist gave a random person who was stalking me knowledge of the fact that I was staying here and then when confronted with the fact they broke GDPR she told me to “forget about it” and tried to call the police on us. Then she printed our passports on the reception desk for people to see with our room numbers on. Rooms were also horrible with bugs. Contacted the police and GDPR over this terrible hotel. DO NOT STAY

Notre chambre la 606 n'était pas très lumineuse mais très spacieuse...propre... le mobilier n'est pas des plus modernes mais très correct.

Sobe su u redu svojom veličinom, ali imaju nedostatak što nisu dovoljno opremljene. Osoblje na recepciji je jako ljubazno i zahvaljujem im se na pomoći.

A l acceuil la dame est tres agréable, de bon conseil.

The sun rises, the view is beautiful but the curtains are not opaque and the light invades the room and the sounds also due to the not exactly insulating windows, not to mention the bedspread with absurd yellow stains that I removed from above the bed. A price that was absolutely inadequate for the characteristics of the room which, to be honest, was still clean.
I believe that with a few precautions you could have made this weekend much more comfortable for your customers.
????????: Questo Hotel ha delle oppurtunitá altissime per collocazione e panorama, ma al mio arrivo la stanza è piccola e l'acqua che fuoriesce dal rubinetto è del colore della ruggine ( mi hanno detto che se avessi tenuto aperto il rubinetto per un po' di tempo sarebbe cambiata la colorazione), io perplesso chiedo che mi venga data la possibilità di cambiarla. Dopo la richiesta mi viene specificato che è necessario aggiungere del denaro da 50 a 30€ e pur restio accetto, ma non è finita ..la giornata è calda e il frigo in camera per mettere delle bevande al fresco non è presente, esiste un frigorifero da usare in comune all'ultimo piano, altra perplessità .Altra pecca,v
Il sole sorge, il panorama è bellissimo ma le tende non sono coprenti e la luce invade la stanza e i suoni pure per le finestre non proprio isolanti, non parliamo poi del copriletto con macchie gialle assurde che ho rimosso da sopra il letto. Un prezzo assolutamente inadeguato alle caratteristiche della camera che a onor del vero risultava comunque pulita.
Credo che con un po' di accorgimenti avreste potuto rendere questo weekend ai vostri cliente molto più confortevole.

Bez najave da to uopste treba biti u svakoj hotelskoj sobi. Zasto? Zato sto tako govorite vasim gostima da vam je stalo.

El hotel se encuentra en una ubicación maravillosa de Sliema, esta enfrente del puerto y tienes cerca muchos restaurantes tanto para desayunar, comer o cenar. Las habiataciones son bastante comodas y fieles a las imágenes. Si que es verdad que esta bastante anticuado pero es un lugar perfecto para descansar.

Matig hotel. Kamers vies, 7e verdieping wormen. Na het schoonmaken van de kamers zelfs de deur open laten staan. Bedden liggen niet goed. Het enige goede was de airco.

객실 넓고 깔끔해요. 더블 트윈룸 예약했는데, 책상의자는 화장대 빼고 없어요. 화장실에 헤어드라이어도 없습니다. 냉장고도 없고 쓰레기통도 없고 … 분명 객실 내 편의시설에 다 써져 있었는데 없네요^^ 전기포트 이런건 당연히 없구용

위치는 좋아요. 버스 정류장 바로앞인데 다니는 버스가 많아서 금방금방 도착해요. 에어컨도 잘돼요. 수압이 조금 약하고 다음날 카드키가 갑자기 안들어서 리셉션 갔다왔어요.

Als ich und meine Freundin bei dem Hotel ankamen, kam mir gleich ein ungutes Gefühl.
Dieses sollte sich dann auch später durch die „Gastfreundschaft“ der Empfangsdame und den Zimmern bestätigen.
Kurzum unfreundliches und unbemühtes Personal.
Natürlich wurde erst der Betrag für 6 Nächte abkassiert bevor wir aufs Zimmer konnten. Im Zimmer angekommen, wusste ich gleich, dass ich hier keine Sekunde länger bleibe. Mehr dazu in der Kategorie „Zimmer“.
Uns wurde ein anderes Zimmer gezeigt welches zwar ein wenig moderner war, von Sauberkeit aber den gleichen Standard hatte wie das erste.

Definitiv keine Empfehlung wert. Bucht auf keinen Fall in diesem Hotel!
Rückerstattung gab es nur durch Kontakt über Booking in Form von Bargeld. Vom Manager wurden keine Bemühungen angestellt selbst mit Booking in Kontakt zu treten.
Sind in der gleichen Stunde aus dem Hotel abgereist.
Einzig und alleine der Standort wäre mehr als nur gut, da alles recht einfach zu erreichen ist.

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo alloggiato nella stanza 104 del hotel.
Nonostante l'ottima posizione e il personale gentile la camera è un bunker notturno.
Non si sa se è giorno o notte.
La pulizia lascia a desiderare parecchio.
La vasca scambiata e le camere vengono pulite a volte a tardo pomeriggio.
Quindi vi consiglio di andare solo per dormire.
La stanza è veramente cupa.
SE QUALCHE AGENZIA VI CONSIGLIA QUESTO HOTEL ATTENZIONE LE STANZE NON SONO COME NELLE FOTO.

Esperienza davvero sgradevole. Mi sembra assurdo che questo hotel possa avere 3 stelle, dopo averci soggiornato per una settimana mi risulta impossibile crederci.
La posizione è l’unica cosa gradevole, per il resto siamo davvero davvero rimasti meravigliati in negativo.
Abbiamo prenotato una camera doppia, ma ci siamo trovati in un buco.
Per sette giorni al mattino non abbiamo visto la luce del sole.
La stanza che ci è stata assegnata dispone di un’unica finestra, la quale affaccia su un quadrato dove ci sono i motori del condizionatore di altri hotel e del nostro stesso hotel, risultato ? Impossibile aprire la finestra per far entrare e circolare l’aria.
Eravamo anche al primo piano, quindi potevamo ammirare la spazzatura sul suolo e l’impatto di tutti i motori dell’aria condizionata.
La camera ha pavimento vecchio, pareti vecchie, i mobili sono fatiscenti e logorati da acqua e muffa.
L’armadio era così male odorante che non stato impossibile riporre i vestiti.
Il letto alla francese scomodo.
L’aria condizionata fortunatamente funzionante, ma in camera è presenta una pala che se accesa si muove in maniera spaventosa ed un ex condizionatore forse in funzione 20 anni fa.
Il bagno è la parte peggiore.
Mobile da bagno con macchie giallastre e a tratti logorato.
Vasca da bagno “bi color” in parte bianca ed in parte gialla, doccino che perde acqua,ogni doccia allaga il bagno e non può essere evitata questa cosa.
Piastrelle con pezzi mancanti.
La camera viene pulita ogni giorno ma con zero odori positivi,siamo certi che venisse pulita solo perché lo abbiamo visto.
Avevamo altri amici nello stesso hotel e non abbiamo cambiato camera perché la situazione si ripete uguale ed identica per ogni camera.
È stato davvero scomodo soggiornare in questo hotel.
La camera non era dotata di frigo, quindi l’acqua calda era l’unica cosa da tenere in camera.
Esiste un “frigo comune” ma destinato alle scolaresche, quindi inutilizzabile.
La staff sembra gentile, ma abbiamo passato così poco tempo in hotel a causa dell’ angusta sensazione che non sappiamo davvero se lo staff fosse gentile o meno.
Non fatevi ingannare, le camere che vedete su Booking non rispecchiano la realtà.

Albergo orrendo e fatiscente. Non andateci per nessun motivo! Prima di tutto si spaccia per albergo a tre stelle con vista mare, cosa assolutamente falsa, non si sa quali siano le camere che diano sul mare o che meritino più di una stella. Camere da 100 euro a notte che per quanto mi riguarda valgono forse 10 euro a notte! Ho prenotato una singola e quello che mi sono ritrovato è stato una cella di galera, probabilmente di grandezza massimo 5 mq, senza bagnoschiuma, shampoo e nemmeno l'asciugacapelli! Letto scomodissimo che si piega da un lato quasi a rischio di cadere, coperta cortissima che non arriva a coprire le spalle, che sarebbe d'obbligo visto il condizionatore "casereccio" che fa un freddo da matti anche ad alta temperatura (che poi non si spiega la presenza del ventilatore da soffitto se c'è il condizionatore).
Nella stanza due finestre, una nel bagno e una vicino al letto entrambi che affacciano su un lugubre cortile largo 6mq perché circondato da pareti dei palazzi vicini, pieno di motori dell'aria condizionata quindi temperatura forno crematorio ergo impossibile aprire per cambiare l'aria.
Inoltre l'albergo non fornisce alcun servizio, lavatrici, frigo o cassaforti inesistenti, su booking citano un piano in cui di ci dovrebbe essere un frigo comune ma poi se chiedi non è utilizzabile perché disponibile solo per le scolaresche, al limite della comicità. Insomma un esperienza da dimenticare.

La posizione dell' hotel è perfetta ed è l'unica nota positiva.
Appena arrivati già dalla reception si nota che l'hotel non è un granché, ma lasciamo perdere.
Abbiamo ricevuto la camera precisamente la 104.
Che dire, chi sta in galera sta meglio.
Camera piccola ma non è questo il problema. Una sola finestra che è inutile aprirla visto che si affaccia dove ci sono tutti i motori dei condizionatori quindi soffochi solo il caldo.
Il cesso è praticamente uguale a quello di un ospedale, una puzza di fogna allucinante.
La vasca tutta scambiata, mattonelle rotte che continuano a cadere pezzi mentre sei in doccia.
C'è un armadio all interno della camera che puzza di marcio quindi è inutile, non vi dico il cuscino che c'era all interno.
Super sconsigliato.
Una settimana in 2 ho pagato 600€ era meglio buttarli al casinò.

Wir waren für 8 Tage dort. Die guten Dinge zuerst: Die Lage ist echt Hammer! Einkaufsläden, Shopping malls und auch der Hafen sind zu Fuß in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen.
Die Mitarbeiter dort an der Rezeption sowohl auch die Reinigungskräfte sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick der wirklich wunderschön war.
Strand direkt vor der Türe.

Leider gibt es zum Zimmer einiges zu sagen.
Die Sauberkeit ist okay. Das Zimmer heruntergekommen und schreit nach einer Renovierung. Was wirklich schlimm war, war die Klimaanlage! Schön dass wir eine hatte, allerdings hing diese schräg gegenüber vom Bett sodass sie frontal durchgehend in das Gesicht bließ. Auch verstellen konnte man sie nicht. Also musste man das Bett verschieben!! Zum Glück wurden wir nicht krank.
Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts wurde die Bettwäsche nicht ein einziges Mal gewechselt.
Die Handtücher hatten teilweise seltsame Flecken und rochen auch sehr unangenehm.
Das Badezimmer war furchtbar. Nicht mal die Klobrille hat auf den Sitz gepasst so lustig es auch klingt.
Das Zimmer besitzt keine Rollos!! Es ist taghell. Auch nachts durch das Licht auf dem Balkon konnte man nicht schlafen.
An einem Tag wurden wir Frühs durch ein Hammern in der Wand geweckt wo uns nicht vorher Bescheid gegeben wurde.
Es waren an einem Tag wohl Handwerker im Bad die das Waschbecken in einem sehr dreckigen Zustand zurückließen.
Der Fahrstuhl hat seine besten Jahre auf jedenfall schon hinter sich aber Treppen nehmen ist sowieso gesünder. xD
Wirklich schade war auch, dass man keine einzige Möglichkeit hatte etwas kühl zustellen. Auch kein Wasserkocher. Man musste immer alles neu kaufen.

Zusammengefasst: wer auf der Suche nach nichts spezielles ist und nur zum schlafen dort ist (wie wir es waren) ist hier richtig.
Ich würde wirklich nur empfehlen dass man dort das renovieren beginnt. Da der Standort wirklich super ist!!
Dennoch bedanke ich mich für die Zeit die wir in Malta verbringen durften.

nice & cheap ! the (russian) receptionist was so sweet and helpful ❤️ Also, the hotel is literally on top of all bus stops needed so very very good for travelling around. Plus, it’s at the heart of Sliema so anything you may need is a 2min walk ! only thing i didn’t like was that the room was a smoking room and it smelled every time we walked in. However this was disclosed beforehand as a possibility so ????.

l’hotel non vale assolutamente il prezzo pagato. Per quanto riguarda i servizi sono scadenti. La pulizia in camere praticamente non esiste se non per cambiare gli asciugamani e neanche sempre, di solito ogni due giorni, il bagno mai pulito e sempre puzzolente, le lenzuola mai cambiate e per finire il personale scortese

Je donnerai à cet hôtel la note de 3 étoiles mais j’aurais donné 2 étoiles si je ne comprennais pas la localisation.

Pour commencer par les avis positifs :

- Le personnel de l’hôtel est très simpa, les femmes de l’accueil vous donneront pleins de conseils pour visiter le pays ainsi que pleins de petites astuces pour que vôtre séjour à Malte se passe le mieux possible.

- Pour les chambres équipées d’une climatisation je vous insite vraiment de demander la télécommande à l’accueil car la climatisation est nécessaire pour bien dormir (chaleur très intense à Malte). Pour cela ils vous demanderons une caution de 10€ rendu à la fin de votre séjour.

- L’hôtel détient un rooftop sur le toit accessible depuis l’ascenseur appuyez au 7eme étage.

- Le distributeur à l’accueil vend des bouteilles d’eau pas très cher (0,90€)

- L’hôtel est très bien positionné. Vous avez accès au centre ville à 10 min de marche, accès au bus juste en bas, pour le petit déjeuner un petit bar restaurant extérieur juste enface de l’hôtel…

Les avis négatifs :

- Le ménage dans vôtre chambre est vraiment fait à la va vite, voir pas fait du tout. Le drap avait 2 petites tâches semblables à du sang et ceux-ci n’ont pas étés changés de la semaine. Il en vas de même pour les serviettes de bain. Le matin les serviettes étaient rangées mais pas changés, une tâche semblable à du sang également sur une des serviettes nous as accompagnés tout au long du séjour. La poussière présente sous le lit n’à également jamais été enlevée.

- Le lit double est en réalité deux lits simple

- La chasse d’eau des toilettes était défectueuse. Après chaque tirage de chasse d’eau, vous êtes obligés de lever le couvercle de la chasse pour remettre le bouchon de chasse en place autrement elle se vide non-stop.

- La céramique de la baignoire était arachée à certains entroits.

- La pression de la douche était si faible qu’elle ne permettait pas d’enlever le sable présent sur vous apres la plage, je n’ai jamais vu une pression aussi faible pour une douche.

- Il y as un coffre fort dans la chambre mais vous n’avez pas la clé donc impossible de ranger ses objets dedans.

- Les murs sont très fins donc si vos voisins sont un peu bruyants vous les entendez. Pareille pour les déplacements dans les couloirs vous entendez tout.

En conclusion :

Si comme moi vous recherchez un hôtel juste pour dormir à petit budget, je pense que celui-ci pourrais vous convenir. En revanche ne vous attendez pas à du confort où de la propreté. Personnellement j’ai été assez dégouté du manque d’entretien donc je dormais habillé malgré la chaleur, heureusement que la climatisation était là. Pour la douche je me passais une tonne de savon car l’eau ne décapais pas les saletés du tout.

My girlfriend and I started out our holiday with a lot of stress because our booking agency booked the wrong hotel for us. The sliema chalet hotel let us stay in one of their rooms and were very nice and friendly towards us. They tried to make everything as easy as possible while we stayed there.
