Just the most wonderful hotel with the friendliest of staff. Loved the art deco and history of the place. Upgraded to junior suite. So comfortable. Oh and free port in the room too! Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, bring the past back to life.
Lots of restoration work to the fabric of the building especially the tiled floors in the bedrooms made from cork.
Special mention to the staff who made the place feel like home.

Magnifique hôtel qui vous amène dans une autre époque avec un charme incroyable. Il est décoré partout avec goût. Les chambres sont spacieuses et jolies. Le petit-déjeuner est incroyable avec un choix de sucré et salé énorme. La propreté impeccable. Une mention pour le personnel très sympathique et aimable.nous étions en voyage d’anniversaire de mariage et le manager nous a fait la surprise d’une bouteille de champagne à notre retour dans la chambre. Très gentille attention ! Mon lit était trop dur pour mon dos opéré et la réception a fait mettre un surmatelas. L’emplacement est bien et tout est facile d’accès depuis la. Je le recommande vivement.

Ein wunderbares Hotel mit viel Charme und tollen Mitarbeitern. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Nach einem hektischen Tag in Lissabon kann man hier wunderbar herunterkommen und die Ruhe und Gediegenheit dieses kleinen, aber feinen Hotels genießen. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer mit extra Vorflur, Wasserkocher mit Tee- und Kaffeezubereitung, kostenlosem Portwein. Das Bett war riesig, aber hat uns aufgrund seiner Härte einige Schmerzen bereitet. Wer abends gerne mal fernsieht findet leider nur einen einzigen deutschsprachigen Kanal, und das ist ausgerechnet RTL. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut und wird von einem aufmerksamen Team bereitet. Auch eine abendliche Teatime war im Preis enthalten, total super. Alle waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist für Lissabon-Touristen ebenfalls zu empfehlen, da eine U-Bahn-Station in unmittelbarer Nähe ist sowie die klassischen Sehenswürdigkeiten alle fußläufig gut erreichbar sind. Die Seitenstraße selbst hat keinen Charme, ist aber verhältnismäßig ruhig.

Anyone who wants to visit Lisbon can't go wrong with these Heritage hotels, locations are great, hotels are nice. Definitely coming back. I like the classic feel, romantic.
