We had a lovely stay here. Staff was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The location is quite ideal as it’s walking distance to some big attractions. Plenty of food choices around. Only downside would be that you can hear the noise from outside well, so a light-sleeper might find that uncomfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place!

Overall the hotel is nice... BUT! no AC in the rooms. The therace's door is old and you can feel the wind in the room...
It is really clean, the bathroom is great. For a budget trip is fine. But if the temperatures outside are high or low it would be uncomfortable.

Hôtel atypique mais très très bruyant pas de double vitrages, et pas de volets, nous n'avons pas osés demander le petit déjeuner la pièce "accueil" n est pas très accessible.

Camera tripla pulitissima e spaziosa con letti in due ambienti. Bagno cieco spazioso con vasca doccia, non manca nulla, personale gentile e ci cordiale. Purtroppo gli ospiti non sempre sono educati rovinando il sonno a tutte le ore della notte ma questo non è colpa della struttura.

Unfortunately I could not get a good nights rest: the room has single glass so all the noise from outside gets to you, even on the top floor. And that’s a manageable fix: get double glass, (will also reduce the heating bill in winter).

The room other than that looked very nice, well thought trough, elements and things were in good condition. The bed is comfortable, not too soft and pillows were ok for me. The blankets were very old school, haven’t seen that in a while, awesome!

There is a water kettle and 2 tea+ s’coffee bags in the room. We had a shared bathroom, which didn’t bother us at all in off season. But if it’s busy it should be annoying that the toilet may take a while to be accessible.

The neighbourhood is nice, lively. There are a few buildings nearby completely detoriating. Perhaps that’s owners trying to get rid of monument status to put down something new? But it didn’t kill the vibe.

The staff is super friendly and professional.

Staff smokes inside the hotel building!! Rooms are ‘non-smoking’, but you can feel that somebody smokes inside, I even have seen a hotel staff-man working up and down the stairs smoking a sigarette, what is an absolute bizarre nowadays.
The rooms are a kind of cleaned, but not really.
It’s a very shabby hotel, no air conditioning , no heater.
Very LOUD from the outside, windows are not sound-proof at all.
Well-located, the staff is very kind and helpful.

Highly recommend this place to stay! We had such a good stay here, there were really nice ladies manning the reception, there is paid laundry service, daily room cleaning and the space is just so spacious and cozy at the same time! We also had a room with a balcony overlooking the park. Another nice thing when staying with friends is their apartment style rooms - there is a main door and common corridor but also individual room doors so you can choose to sit in the hallway to have a talk or close the room doors for more privacy.

Bella e molto pulita la stanza che affaccia su una bella piazzetta molto vicina all'arteria centrale con eleganti negozi. Comoda la presenza del bollitore, di thè e caffè liofilizzato. Unica pecca la rumorosità a causa del soffitto e delle pareti molto sottili.

Heel gezellig niet te duur hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Leuke kamers, beetje ouderwets met een dito receptie :) zo een houten hekje en zo een plankje erop:) als je dan weet wat ik bedoel:)
Te schattig ..
Wel trappen lopen, er is geen lift.
Ontbijt lekker beneden bij Brooklyn. zie mijn andere review hiervan ????

Such a cute hotel, beautiful old building, absolutely lovely and helpful staff, very clean rooms with cute interior design, great central location. Unfortunately, the noise isolation isn't good, so you hear other guests and the street pretty much. For someone with deep sleep thought it's a recommendation.

Hermoso hotel, habitación amplia y renovada. Éramos 3, la habitación tenía 2 ambientes separados. Cuenta con frigobar y cafetera. Personal muy amable. Excelente ubicación, zona tranquila, frente a una plaza pero muy cerca del centro de Lisboa, se puede llegar a pie. Lo recomiendo!!

Il Safira lo definirei un affittacamere, non c'è possibilità di fare colazione ma è possibile fare un thè o caffè in polvere il con bollitore elettrico, camere ristrutturate e molto pulite, posizione silenziosa. Vicino al centro città e alla Metro, posizione eccellente!
