Mesa en dos bancos del Palais-Bourbon, habiendo elegido el registro de una elegante cocina francesa ejecutada con brío.
No se deje engañar por la decoración, que parece bastante impersonal con su combinación de dos tonos de blanco y negro. Concéntrese en la carta y en sus platos. A dos pasos del Palacio Borbón, este Café des Ministères se ha impuesto como un restaurante muy atractivo en el barrio. Roxane (en el comedor) y Jean Sevegnes (el chef) han elegido el registro de la cocina francesa elegante, ejecutada con brío y la dosis justa de modernismo para no inquietar a los guardianes del templo gastronómico. Su vol-au-vent Grande Tradition es una referencia. Botellas de origen fino.

Une cuisine bourgeoise d’excellence. Vous l’aurez déjà compris. Je porte donc une attention particulière sur l’accueil et le service familial comme on ne trouve plus de nos jours, et faisant honneur à notre patrimoine gastronomique - car oui, c’est aussi une affaire humaine.

For lunch and dinner reservation is essential. Out of peak hours you can walk in without.
The atmosphere is laid back, nothing fancy, many locals and regulars. Still, well picked silverware, nice plates, good details.
The portions of the mains are galactic, the tastes are honest, earthy, mouthwatering, other times refined and delicate.
To start with, the poireaux vinaigrette and the ouef mayonnaise are classics, cannot go wrong with them. The tripe and the boudin noir are more traditional old school French dishes, requiring a bit of experience, to say.
For the mains, the vol au vent and the chou farci (ask with crème fraîche) are delightful, but the fish plates are also very good. Worth asking for the daily specials (slow cooked beef cheek and so on)!!
The desserts are exceptional. To name one, the Pavlova is sweet, sour, creamy and crunchy at the sane time, beautifully composed. If you are craving for chocolate, choose the profiterole.
